Rockin' South Fork

We celebrated our #18 in style. Pete Townshend style.

(Happy anniversary, baby. 18 strings for 18 years. It's about time you had your own brand-new guitar. xoinfinity)

Absolutely love it! (And South Fork is one of my favorite places in the world.)

Mine/ours too. And it's pretty quiet on a Thursday night.

You're correct, Mart, but our guitars performed their own stunts. No doubles in this show. We live dangerously.

haha! I love it. Those pictures are fantastic! Thanks for sharing :)

J'oga, I could use some tips from a master, if you're ever so inclined!

LOVE that slide show!
You two are so cute!
I'd love to hear you play.
Happy Anniversary!

(where's South Fork?)

Hunny B., all you do is drive up Provo Canyon and hang a right at Vivian Park, then follow the road. There are parks we like up there, and the quietest one is the farthest up. Nice places to take easy hikes, nice places to cook out, nice places to jump, jive, and wail.

Rob's the bonafide musician. Me, I just have aspirations and a nice collection of picks.

happy eighteenth on the fourteenth! we went for strings this year too--only 6 but we've got to start somewhere. we are actually coming to provo tomorrow to acquire said strings; we went out last night to purchase but it didn't work out that way. so perhaps someday the brothers should get together for a wider jammin' session. i have aspirations too but right now i could take lessons from you!

If you take lessons from me, Becca, you'll be playing the PIxies before you know what hit you. And the Bay City Rollers. And Pedro Infante. And Queen. Heck, I'm getting pretty well-rounded in my twinking and plunking!

I only bought Rob 6 strings this year—he received his first (second-hand) 12 on our twelfth. So in five more, what? a banjo?

You two are terriblly adorable (adorably terrible, with smashing guitars?) and I loooove these pix. Thanks for bloggin your anniversary for us...we're so glad y'all got together (and stayed that way). I want a Buchert hootnanny so bad...remember those fun family nights/jam sessions? Oh, the memories. The bucherts are the new Von Trapps. I digress...
Happy anniversary, and best wishes for a speedy recovery (in every way) from your recetn accident (I was so sad about that!). XOXOXO

Jamie, I have some funny footage from a July birthday hootenany, complete with PVC pipe digeridoos. I'll have to commit it to YouTube so you can have a look.

Love you! Thanks for the rah-rah!

Catherine, that's right because . . .

The more we get together, together, together,
Oh, the more we get together, the happier we'll be!
