My fifteen seconds of fame

Remember I told you I volunteered to transcribe episodes of my favorite podcast, Morning Stories? And remember that I explained how I included some feedback with my work? Well, I found out tonight that I was quoted in one of the recent shows, along with two of the other transcriptionists. Want to hear? Click on this link, then look under the AUDIO section for "Between the Lines" and click "Download." Up will pop a small audio player and you can listen to the podcast. When you're finished, maybe you'll want to go to the main archive page and listen to some stories. Or start here, with some mug shots.

Then, if you want to totally reinforce my brag-a-rama, read this and shout hurrah for generous linkers who spread the word about Morning Stories!

I love your story the best. Your exchange of letters may seem like such a simple ritual, but what a treasure!

woohoo! You're famous! Loved reading it the first time, loved hearing some unknown man read it too.

I didn't listen to this because I have dial-up and everything takes FOREVER! I sometimes transcribe things for NPR (though I get paid for it) and the other day a producer from NPR called me and I was surprised to hear that they talk like that in real life! You know, like they're on sedatives or something.

So cool, Geo! I had to run into the bedroom with my laptop where Mr. Billy was folding clothes to play it for him. I was expecting your voice, but I'll take what I can get...

Hurrah, not just for generous linkers, but for Geo!
