Today's unexpected gifts from the Universe

1. a small butterfly wing, found in the mall parking lot

2. a caseless homemade music CD: a mix of Latino/Dub/Reggae/Cheesy White Stuff, found in the street, and only the first track is too scuffed up to play

3. a great big pin-on button that says, "Spoon me, already!" passed on to me by Rob, after a BYU coed handed it to him on campus at lunchtime (Why, I oughta . . . !)

Turn her into the Honor Code Office!
: )
I don't know, there's something kind of nice, though a tad naughty, knowing that others find your mate attractive.

Wendy, actually, she was probably thinking, "Hey, Mister, buy some frozen yogurt." I guess there's a new place in the Cougareat and this is how they're advertising it. (Still, I bet she thought he was cute.) (He is.)

Mirjam, when you come home I'll loan you my find.

Debra, HC Office nothin. If I'da been there I'da taken her DOWN!

C-dub, I am so glad you are heroic and unburned.

The butterfly wing may or may not have been torn off by one of my children.

~j., it was for a good cause (ultimately).

That button made me laugh.

Rynell, yeah, a pretty effective ad campaign, eh?

Okay, that button...is GREAT.

Elizabeth. Next to my computer I keep a photo of Rob. Now next to Rob's photo I keep that button, just to help me keep life in the right perspective!

such lovely unexpected gifts!
(except the dirty ho who hit on your husband, which was probably neither unexpected, nor a gift.)
