Oh do have fun. I can't wait to read it!
p.s. I have secretly always wanted to write a script for this particular Peter Mayle book that I think would make a hysterical movie. I'm too much of a chicken to try it, but kudos to you.
Okay, Geo, what's going on? If you're writing something or entering a contest or whatever, I have to be able to read it. You haven't written anything too long lately and I'm having withdrawals. Please, please, please let me in on your secret or I'll hold my breath! Well, not really...
C-DUB. Neither can I . . . that is, I'm hoping there's something to read in a few weeks!
I think if you have a story already chosen, you ought to give it a shot. I feel sure you could do it. If you ever want to try, I'll introduce you to some free software that will help you with formatting. And I'll toss in my growing collection of helpful links.
LYNN. Just a little madness, don't panic. It's a little time carved out the days of this month to try my hand at writing a script, something I promised myself I would do back at the beginning of the year while attending a film fest. It's not exactly a contest; the only competition really is between some writing time and some housework, which I figure will be more than happy to wait for me. I'll let you know how this goes. (Cross your fingers, please!)
JAMIE. I rolled the plot machine a few times. You should try it; it IS fun. I think though that I'll stick with my own low-key ideas. Thanks for the birth month wish! I'm so glad April is finally here, even though it means I have to add another number to my vast collection of ages.
Yeah Geo! Congratulations and have fun! I am so glad that I found your blog through you finding mine :o You are a great writer and I will keep reading your posts! Elsita :)
Again, good luck! I'm looking forward to NO blog posts because I want you working on that script! And if you need a break, feel free to come over and clean my house.
