Crochet avec moi

Free online crochet lessons start next Tuesday. 12 weeks. It's easy. You know you want to learn. If you're local and want to get together and stitch, I'm going to Knit Night this evening, and you're welcome to come along. Knit Nights are usually on the first, third, and occasional fifth Wednesday evenings of every month. Provo Towne Center Mall—meet at the leather couches in front of Dillard's at 7:00pm.

The lessons are someone else's project. I just happened to read about it. Click the link and you'll see where the lessons will happen.

I am a recovering knit-snob. I've decided I actually enjoy crochet, AND I've made my peace with (good-quality) acrylic. To every thing there is a season and a time for even synthetics under heaven, as they say. I could teach you in person—crochet's not tough.

Hey...do you still ever have knit night at your house? I've always wanted to come, but I'm not sure if you are still doing it.

It hasn't been at my house for a long, long time. Some time after The
Ancestor moved in with us and needed more and more quiet, the group started meeting at Barnes & Noble. After a few months of that, our most non-shopping-oriented knitter suggested the MALL, and believe it or not, that's been a great place. The couches are cushy, and it's easier than the bookstore to visit and stitch without problems. The mall security folks just smile at us as we rearrange the furniture. You should come and join us when Scott (or some other trusted person) can manage your double-cuteness boys for the evening! It would be so much fun to have you!!
