The Twitch is Back

I was justified when I was five
Raising Cain, I spit in your eye
Times are changing, now the poor get fat
But the fever's gonna catch you when the twitch gets back

Eat meat on Friday that's alright
Even like steak on a Saturday night
I can twitch the best at your social do's
I get by every evening eating lentil stew

I'm a twitch, I'm a twitch
Oh the twitch is back
Stone cold sober as a matter of fact
I can twitch, I can twitch
`Cause I'm madder than you
It's the way that I move
The things that I do

I entertain by picking brains
Sell my soul by dropping names
I don't like those, ohmyheck, what's that
Oh it's full of nasty habits when the twitch gets back

hey, i think i a sympathetic twitch may be settling into my own right eye. i'll tell him to collect his twin and get going. in the meantime, if that tonic stuff works, please spread the news.

tee hee!

I tell you it's sleep deprivation. Do you need to borrow some of my lavender aromatherapy?

Sorry I've been caught up in the aftermath of family this week and haven't been to visit. You're in my thoughts!

OK so this is why you read posts in order. Maybe it's not sleep deprivation, at least not by itself. But I'd vote for being under tremendous stress, too.

Maybe this is one of those that leaveth not except by prayer and fasting.

Or something.

Take care of you!

Thanks, Bec o'. I think what we need is a jacuzzi full of tonic.

And I've been meaning to tell you how much I liked the funny present you left on my doorstep. Where did you get such a thing? (It made the photo du jour project . . . may post soon.)

AND I've been meaning to tell you that I was bummed out not to get to visit you in Logan last weekend, but I know you know my reason for staying put. xo

c-dub: You remember the original, don't you? I have to confess I love old Elton John—pre-Disney days, that is.

I haven't tried lavender yet. Other armoatherapy, yes, but I'm out of lavender. Hmmm. I'd be willing.

Don't sweat not rendezvousing ath UVRMC. You've got your own tough things going on. I understand!

You bet I do. I probably remember every word. Which is sad because I can't remember conversations of events as recent as last week. What's up with that?

Yeah, I remember with the tonic water it was years ago -but this girl I worked with (at the eye doctor's) had a terrible twitch and she drank a lot of tonic water, and it went away.

I fear my eye is starting to feel funny. Sympathy twitch is a such a strange phenomena!

oh phoo. maybe you could try stretching the muscle (?!) or pushing on it like you would a leg cramp. Glad to hear Gram is doing some better. You guys are in our prayers too.

ps: got chickens finally!

Geo, do we need to talk agian? Monty Python has the answer to the twitch: "Run away, run away more!"

I should read your blog more often, then I could stay up on your life a little better...how funny is that.

As always, God bless you and grams.

Ladies, I almost said, "Sorry, I'm a little behind," but then I realized—if they've met me in person, they'll know that just ain't true. *sigh* It was all so much easier before we started gathering for the occasional lunch. (But I prefer to know you in real time, so who cares about my virtual behind?)

Thanks for all the good twitch thoughts, everyone.

Joh, I have pushed on that eyelid till my 'bulb has nearly popped out. If I do go too far, maybe you'll loan me a fresh banty egg to wear for Easter? Or do you have huge henny honeys?

Melody: Leave the kittens. Must leave the kittens.

I must tell you that I giggle about this post when I'm not even at my computer. I mean, even when I'm at work!

b.: Apparently, Elton baby just celebrated his 60th birthday, did you hear? Guess he sang one of my all-time EJ favorites: B-b-b-benny and the Jets!
