Yarmulke

May I direct the attention of those who enjoy reading about dreams to my latest adventure in Slumberland? And if you have any you'd like to share with me anytime via email, I sometimes post others' dream-snippets on that blog too. Just say if you want yours up for public view or not. Either way, I am fascinated by dreams and like to talk about them. My email is pogofig at gmail dot com.

what do you think it meant? Especially the last part with the parachuters. I've had dreams that refer to other dreams, but never nesting dreams. That's two middle eastern elements to your dream; there's a name for the rhetorical style I can't remember, something to do with drawers, where stories nest inside stories. Been reading 1001 Nights lately?

Oooh, interesting. Thanks for telling me about the middle eastern meta-dream connection. I'm still letting this one simmer, but there are a few ideas that preesented themselves right away. Probably the stuff of a long rambling journal entry and/or a real live conversation. Some of it maybe I can explore here . . . when my mind settles on the meanings.

I haven't been reading that book but it's been at least 1001 nights since I didn't have a strange dream . . . .

Well, Geo, my dear, I, too, dreamt of you, and it was a night or two before you posted this. And then you dreamt of meeting me! How very strange! I've been sitting on whether or not to email you. I still can't get over the whole blog thing where we 'know' each other but don't really know each other.

Really!! Wow, that's something. I don't dream often of people I've not met yet--I think you're the first bloggerette to visit me in Slumberland--so it was really unique, and as I said, very real. I'm dying to know now what you dreamed. If you'd like to email me, my addy is pogofig at gmail dot com. Syncrhonicity!
