Hilarious! Did you find that in a library book? When I was teaching "Come Thou Fount" to the choir out of my great-grandma's old blue hymnbook (in great condition, from her organ bench), I found a yellowed receipt form El Rancho Market, a small, long-gone grocery store in Tucson, with the chords to a song written on the back. I don't recognize the chords, but I remember El Rancho. It closed when I was about 6.
Hey, James, it would've been great if the choir could've done a follow-up number with those mystery chords . . . ! ("Come Thou Fount" is one of my all-time intense favorites. If I don't get twinkled, as I've been planning on since my childhood, I want that one sung at my funeral.)
I found this receipt(?) on the ground someplace, you know, where I seem to find most of my best stuff. (I found $5.01 walking the Norrises' dog last week!)
