Some women are crazy about baby talk

In much less than a week's time I have had four different women share their pregnant-Geo vibes with me. Okay, it actually started with me--I'm the first of the four--I had a dream on New Year's Eve, or to be more accurate, early in the morning on 1 January 2006. I dreamed I was pregnant, and that's the only bit I can remember. On 2 January I received an email from my beloved sister-in-law and she related a pregnant-Geo dream she'd had the night before. (I've posted her dream here on my dream blog for your reading pleasure.) Later on that same day, my friend F. told me she'd had a dream that I got pregnant again and was able to give birth to a healthy baby. (By the way, this is F.'s third such dream in several months.) Now tonight, my dear R., my former-next-door-neighbor-recently-turned-Idahoan, related some strong personal impressions that she (also dealing with infertility issues) and I will "have our babies about the same time", as in toward the end of this year. Am I wacko yet? Are all of my friends? I suppose time will be the truest test of these inspirations, as usual; it'll either come to pass or it won't. I mean, yeah, I know it's not quite that easy, but . . . ! Doesn't it seem a little odd that I would be bombarded with these crazy, hopeful messages in three days' time?

I have always thought (since I met you a year ago,) deep down, that you would bear fruit at some point.

Strange to hear it from so many close people in a short period of time!

Let me see if I can dream something for you tonight.

Uh-oh, Carina, that remark put a quarter in my mental jukebox; now I've got a random song stuck in my head:

Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singin' in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me

Say nighty-night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
While I'm alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me

Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this

Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me

Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this

Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries far behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me
