Family Home Evening was pretty tasty tonight.

That's a GREAT night!!

I had half of one of those eclairs yesterday....I really wanted to try the cannoli. How was it??

A more excellent FHE could not be found.

B. Yep, their cannoli is good. The shell is not as delicate as you'd hope, but the ricotta stuff inside is yum. The cannolis are better than the eclairs.

BTW, I just et a key lime tart for breakfast. I laugh in the face of Candida.

SUE-DO. So true! So true!

That's 3 blogs now this week that have posted about pastries and eclairs--one without exaggeration was the size of a football! I'm going to have to splurge real soon...

AM'N. I would steer you toward Eliane's. I think theirs are the best in town. (Kneaders is a quicker, cheaper fix, but unless you're having a meltdown kind of sugar emergency, I say drive a few more blocks and go for the real French ones.)

That is what I am talking about.

Well fed.

Mmm, I like European eclaires. The kind with the amazing pastry that's unmatchable in the US.

Something like this makes me want to have family home evening. Even if it is just with myself.

C JANE. Amen!

LUCKY. Next time you're in town.

I I EEE. But that's just it. You won't be by yourself. I say, do it! It's good for your heart (if not your arteries)!

I want to have family home evening with you!

When Nigel was young, family home evening consisted of watching "The Six Million Dollar Man." My family's home evenings consisted of watching my brothers beat the cr@p out of each other or playing autistic-like math games that I never understood.

Our FHEs are much nicer now.
