February 6 (new hat, poke that)

Here is The Ancestor wearing the hat I made her for her birthday. I let her choose the pattern and colors. Her nickname is Ladybug. Perfect, huh?
Here is The Ancestor with a very nice nurse who tried six ways to Sunday to get blood from some very tiny veins, with zero success. I've never seen anything like it. She would hit a vein but no blood would yield. Not one drop. The Ancestor went home today with sore arms and no blood test done.
