January 8 (eat)
The really amazing thing is that when The Ancestor was discharged from the hospital after her four-day, three-night stay, she was so feeble and weak that the nurse and I together had a difficult time getting her changed into her street clothes and shoes—she was like a soggy, limp rag doll with no strength—but a half-hour later when Rob and I walked her through the doors of "her" Chuck-A-Rama she took off like a wind-up toy, on her own, with surprising energy. I half expected to hear her bellow at the other diners, "OUTTA MY WAY!" She was all over that buffet like stink on a skunk.

Chuck-a-Gramma is the best!
SHE IS ADORABLE!!!
What a perfect name! Lately, I've started calling her Chuck-A-Rama-Anna.
What is the deal with that? My aging Abuelita loves chuck-a-rama or any buffet.
My grandparents also love the infamous "Up-chuck-a-rama!" :)
AzĂșcar: Ya got me. All I know is Chuck's usually looks like a sea of grandmas and grandpas when we go to eat there. Same with the Golden Corral. Now a good Indian or Asian buffet? There's always a serious senior deficit.
Liz, I see you and I feel the same way about Chuck's.
